Sep 21, 2022 Season 2
Gentlemen's History Hour (POD'N)

On this episode of GHH we had the pleasure of hearing the journey of Prof. James Small. We also had the pleasure of talking with National Black United Front national chairman @kofitaharka giving us the history of the 25th annual NBUF caravan to the ancestors taking place on October 15th in Galveston TX.

Scholar, activist, speaker and organizational consultant Prof. Smalls tells GHH his history in the movement starting with his family roots in South Carolina, his time in the US military, being Malcolm X’s sister Ella Collins personal bodyguard as well as his experiences in the Organization of Afro American Unity and his time as an Imam in Muslim Mosque Inc. founded by Malcolm X. Prof. Small has an extraordinary journey that lead him to being a practitioner and teacher on the traditions of African Spirituality.
Buckle up as we learn and listen along the journey of the esteemed Professor James Small. So take a listen and be sure to like and subscribe!

Gentlemen’s History Hour is a bi-weekly podcast that engages in casual conversations about the personal history of certain guests as well as historical moments throughout time that shapes the present and influences the future.

The Problem: We don’t know our full history nor are we taught how to learn it. (A secondary problem being people don’t know where to start.)

Our Solution: In just one hour per week, we have beginner Black History dialogue introducing the most dynamic characters, events and acts as well as explaining how it effects us today.

The Happy Ending: Empower people with a stronger sense of self, raising awareness, and providing a guide to explore further.
